Brass Kubera Pot
A brass Kuber pot (often called a Kubera Kalash or Kubera Padi) is a highly auspicious Vastu and spiritual item dedicated to Lord Kubera, the treasurer of the gods and the cosmic guardian of wealth. While Goddess Lakshmi generates wealth, Lord Kubera is responsible for accumulating, managing, and protecting it.
How to Fill and Activate the Pot
A Kuber pot should never be kept empty, as an empty vessel symbolizes a lack of resources. To activate its energy, it must be filled with auspicious items that represent abundance:
-
A Base of Grains: Fill the bottom half of the pot with uncooked, unbroken rice (Akshat). In agrarian traditions, grain is the most fundamental form of wealth and sustenance.
-
Coins: Place coins on top of the rice. These can be regular circulating coins, or silver and gold coins if you prefer.
-
Spiritual Wealth Magnets: For a highly traditional setup, add items naturally associated with wealth into the pot, such as Gomati chakras, yellow cowrie shells (Kaudis), lotus seeds (Kamal Gatta), or a piece of whole turmeric.
